I made this cake from Linda Lomelinos cookbook „Lomelinos tårtor“ for a friends birthday. I cannot recommend this book (or her blog) enough. I'm very picky when it comes to food photography – but she’s one of my favourites! I was a bit skeptical about cardamom in the dough – but apparently blueberries and cardamom go together heavenly! I kept pretty much to the recipe, apart from making it in double-size so everyone could get a slice and decorated it a bit differently. More berry – more merry! ;)
I took a week off from work to spend some quiet time with my loved ones. I’m not really used to having much time off so I also made some christmas cookies. And ate a lot of them.
